This isn't just a light....it's art. Extremely rare 1850s figural sconce attributed to Archer Warner, Miskey and Co. which was located at 119 Chestnut St. in Philadelphia. Finish is all original and is a combination of bronze and gilded brass. These were high end lights in their day as gas lighting was reserved for the wealthy in the 1850s. Fitted with a later 1880s scenic acid etched crown top shade which matches the scale and quality of the light and fits with the historic and interchangeable nature of gas shades.  Large scale as she is 22" tall.
