Spectacular post civil war Alladin style Victorian converted gas fixture featuring a stylized Gryphon head.  The pendant has its original rope style gas tubing and a stunning original 2 5/8" fitter wheel cut gas shade featuring a bouquet cameo in the center.  Made of cast spelter, it has finely cast details and the faux gold finish is original to the 1860s. A contemporary ceilng cap has been added and finished to match in order to cover an electrical box. Coverted to electricity and CSA approved. Would make a statement piece in a hallway.
