Nice piece of Canadian lighting history. This early 1900s piece was originally made by McDonald & Willson who had downtown showrooms in both Montreal and Toronto. They carried a range of mid to high end lighting like the one we have here. This piece came out of a home in the Forest Hill neighbourhood of Toronto. It is a combination of cast brass and bronze and features stylized leaf patterns and egg and dart motifs. Shades are all original and feature a delicate acid etched floral pattern. Would make a spectacular hallway or living room fixture or a dining room light if you have 8' ceilings. Rewired and CSA approved.
