This stunning early 1900s lamp has an incredible history of origin. Those that know panel lamps know Bradley and Hubbard and Handel Lamps. Both companies were located in Meriden, Connecticut where they had offices and factories. The palm and sunset shade motif was popularized by Handel and can be seen on many of their panel lamps from the early 1900s. In this case, Bradley and Hubbard either copied the motif or got the original molds from Handel to make their own version.

The lamp is 100% authentic and signed Bradley and Hubbard on the base. The bronze patina base features embossed oak leafs and is a lovely Arts and Crafts/American Art Nouveau form. The shade is in perfect condition and the glass is all original. Original finish has aged beautifully and is untouched. Each panel is unique in that it has intertwining hues of red, amber, pink and blue. Just like a sunset.

This is one of the finest and rarest lamps we have ever seen from Bradley and Hubbard and a true collectors item.
