Circa 1883 Mitchell Vance & Co Eastlake 4 Light Converted Gasolier with Central Stained Glass Lantern

Here we have an amazing 1883 Mitchell Vance & Co. converted gasolier. Where to start with this one. The central lantern features four unique and original stained glass and jeweled panels. Each design is different which was a hallmark of lighting at the time. The fixture is a combination of alpha brass and yellow brass and the original finish has been meticulously restored. We fitted it with four period perfect antique figural patterned shades.

Mitchell Vance & Co. where a prominent lighting company located at 836 - 838 Broadway in New York. Their grand office and showroom buildings still stand to this day long after the company dissolved. This fixture came from a house in Buffalo, New York.
