Late 1850s early 1860s Fellows, Hoffman and Company Four Branch Allegorical Gasolier

The castings and details on this grand gasolier are outstanding. Similar riser details are seen on Neo-Rococo gasoliers from Starr, Fellows and Company in 1856. This piece is more masculine and exhibited through Satyr's, Lions, Greyhounds and anthropomorphic details found all over this fixture. One gas key has a slight break with a casting missing. Some hooligan painted it gold and when we strip away the paint, we know the original finish will be underneath.

If restored by us, the original finish will be restored and all cast pieces will be repaired or replaced where missing. The chandelier will be professionally converted, wired and CSA approved with period or period style shades available.
