Very interested pair of transitional gas / electric wall sconces from the late 1890s. Hard to believe that you could run both lighting sources but these were a stop gas between dependable gas and the newly invented electric light. Sconces feature a scroll dolphin casting on the arm along with a stunning set of original etched and ruffled blue tinged shades. Restored, rewired and CSA approved.
